71 PRINCIE Weight of the original diamond 34.64 cts. This diamond is nicely shaped and above all, beautiful for its pinkish color. It is said to have been property of the Nizam of Hyderabad.

72 QUEEN FREDERICA Weight of the original diamond 2.00 cts. The diamond, even though small, is particularly interesting because it has been cut into a portrait-frame shape. Quite thin, it bears the engraved portrait of Frederica Louise Wilhelmina, wife of Wilhelm 1, Prince of Orange, first King of Holland.

73 QUEEN OF BELGIUM Weight of the original diamond 4o.oo cts. Previously cut into a cushion-shape of 50.00 cts., the diamond belonged to the Queen Mary Henrietta of Belgium, wife of King Leopold 11. It was later cut into its present shape of 40.00 cts. to increase its brightness.

74 QUEEN OF HOLLAND Weight of the original diamond 136.25 cts. Cushion-cut and deep blue in color, it was cut in Amsterdam in 1904 and exhibited in Paris in 1925. It was later sold to an Indian Maharajah.

75 REGENT Weight of the original diamond 140.50 cts. 0ne of the most beautiful gems ever known, it belongs to the French Treasury It was exhibited for the last time, in 1962, during the Show at the Louver, "Ten Centuries of French jewelry". Like all famous gems, its history is rich with adventures and legends. The original rough stone was a diamond of 410.00 cts., called Pitt, the name of the Governor of Madras who, in England in the year 1700, had it cut into its present shape.

76 RIVER STYX Weight of the original diamond 28.50 cts. This black diamond, coming from the South African Bultfontein Mine was cleaved and cut in New York. Apart from its color, the interesting fact is that the cutting required many months time due to the particular hardness of the rough material.

77 RUSSIAN TABLE Weight of the original diamond 25.00 cts. It is considered to be the biggest diamond portrait frame. Even if the shape is a bit irregular, it is of top quality today it adorns the center of an antique, finely enameled, Indian bracelet. Property of the Russian Treasury of Diamonds and Precious Gems in Moscow.

78 SANCY Weight of the original diamond 55.00 cts. Of Indian origin and extremely white, this pear-shaped diamond is said to have been the first gem with a symmetric cut. It was bought in Constantinople by the Seigneur of Sancy, a keen gem collector, and the gem was used to adorn the hat of Henry 111

79 SHAH Weight of the original diamond 88.70 cts. Probably of Indian origin, it is a unique diamond for its shape and for the three inscriptions engraved upon it: "Bourhan-Nizam-Shah 11 1000" (Governor of India in 1591) - "Son of Jahangir Jahan Shah 1051" (period of the government of Shah Jahan 1641) - "Kadjar Fath Ali Shah", (Shah of Persia in 1824). In 1829 it was given as a present to Czar Nicholas 1. To this day, it remains in Russia, housed in the Kremlin.

80 SHAH OF PERSIA Weight of the original diamond 99.52 cts. Beautifully yellow and cushion-cut, this diamond belonged to the Madir Shah. Having a quite adventurous history it was also part of the Persian treasure, mounted on a marvelous pendant together with other brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds.
